Arc of Orleans does an extensive vocational assessment of the people it serves to match their skills, talents and interests with appropriate employment. You can be that employer.

We provide a team and an on-site supervisor to perform the job you need. The Arc of Orleans charges a pre-established fee, and we’re responsible for payroll, personnel matters, insurance and other supervisory tasks. Our supervisor will be at the work site every work day to help the workers learn the job and ensure quality control.

The positions we support range from manufacturing to food service, from retail to clerical. Our workers are dedicated and enthusiastic, happy to be part of a team doing good work.

Our staff offers a variety of short- and long-term supports, advocating for both you and the work team. We include assessment, hands-on job coaching and techniques to minimize training time and ease supervision.

In fact, we maintain a couple of our own services, which helps us understand what a business owner like you needs:

The Arc's Auto Detail Shop provides professional car, truck and boat cleaning services. People learn specialized skills and customer service techniques.

The Arc’s Mobile Cleaning Crew provides outstanding custodial services. Our contracts provide skills training that helps prepare individuals with disabilities for competitive employment.

Orleans Enterprises provides a number of assembly and packaging services, from books and manuals to electronics and machine parts.
