Recreation & Camp Rainbow
The Adult Recreation Program offers opportunities to
have fun in the community. Bowling, weekend campouts, day outings
and overnight weekend trips are examples of available activities.
In cooperation with Genesee Community College Recreation and Living
Skills program and BOCES College for Living, evening classes are
available.
The Bridge Builders program was developed to link children
and adults living at home with existing integrated recreation programs
throughout the community. Volunteers are utilized throughout this
program.
Camp Rainbow is a summer day camp available to all Orleans
County children. Campers with and without disabilities play and
learn side by side, encouraging friendships and understanding.
Swimming, special events, music, arts and crafts, nature study,
sign language, cooperative games and athletics are offered.
